Foam Process
Whilst the surveyor will fully explain the process from start to finish we can illustarte a simple breakdown below:
1. Survey & Quotation
Our experienced surveyor will conduct a survey to ensure your property is suitable for this improvement. The survey will involve a visual check of your loft area and roof area at ground level. On conclusion of the visual inspection the surveyor will explain the process, the benefits and whether your property is suitable for spray foam insulation,. The surveyor will finally leave you with a quotation for your consideration.
2. Health & Safety Inspection
On accepting our quotation you will be visited by our technical surveyor to carry out a formal risk assessment of your property and to ensure there is no forseeable health & safety issues to ensure our full compliance with the HSE regulations.
4. Schedule
Once a schedule of works has been agreed we will book in an installation date, we aim to have all jobs completed within 7 days of placement of order.
5. Health & Safety
Our fully trained in house fitting team will initially conduct all required Health and Safety requirements prior to commencement of any work.
6. Roof Preparation
Prior to application the roof is prepared, replacing missing, damaged, slipped and cracked tiles, along with ridge tiles and under-pointing where required. Lead work is also checked for leaks to ensure a fully water tight roof to begin with.
7. Insulation
Once the roof is prepared the application process can begin. SaveHeat spray insulation is applied using the latest self contained spray units essentially mixing the component chemicals at the very last second to ensure the best results.
8. Cutting Away Excess Material
SaveHeat Spray Insulation cures almost instantly, once cured the excess material can be cut away and disposed of.
9. Loft Conversion (optional)
Boards can then be applied if a loft conversion is planned.
10. Cleaning Up
The area is then cleaned and all equipment, waste, residue insulation is removed from the customers property.
11. Assessment
A senior member of SaveHeat installation team will then assess the works with the customer if possible to ensure all rigorous high standards are met, once completed works are then officially signed off.
